On Saturday, April 21, legendary racer and Ford-Cobra-Shelby Reunion (FCSR) Grand Marshal Parnelli Jones will be joined by a stellar group of contemporaries on the panel discussion as part of the FCSR festivities at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by Automobile Club of Southern California.
Parnelli Jones wins the Riverside L.A. Times Grand Prix in Nov. 1964 in this King Cobra. During the FCS Reunion, a rare King Cobra will be on display.
“We have a great line up of racing celebrities for our FCSR Panel Discussion,” said Event Director Tony Thacker. “Grand Marshal Parnelli Jones will be joined by Bob Bondurant, Pete Brock, Jerry Grant, Sherry MacDonald and John Morton—all of whom played an important role in the birth of the Cobra legend.”
“Also in the room for the panel discussion will be many former employees of Shelby American who will no doubt add some spice to the proceedings,” concluded Thacker.
The Panel Discussion is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall of Champions inside the NHRA Motorsports Museum. The cost is just $20.
Scheduled for April 21, the Ford-Cobra-Shelby Reunion is an event for all Cobras, Ford and Ford-powered vehicles, including GT40s and Ford GTs as well as all Shelby vehicles.
